Dr. Garner attended Texas A&M at College Station, Tx from 1971-1972, then was accepted into A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in fall of 1972.  He took his first associates position at a clinic in Desoto, Tx and then in June of 1978, he stared his own practice in Wylie, Tx.

    In 1987, he sold his practice to move further north to Blue Ridge, Tx.  In 2004 started construction on a newer more modern hospital at the current location.

     Dr. Garner and his wife Vicki have 3 sons, Jeff, Jason and Justin.  They also have 5 Grandchildren.  In his spare time, you will find Dr. Garner fishing, working on antique cars and spoiling his grandchildren.
